Overview

Without skincare or with poorly adapted skincare the blood circulation is slow and the stagnant blood becomes visible underneath the thin skin around the eye contour, causing dark circles.

The fragile skin around the eye contour rapidly becomes dehydrated and the elastic fibres deteriorate, leaving sign if ageing on the skin and causing dehydration lines.

The skin around the eye contour is different from the skin on the face therefore regular face creams are not suitable.

The eye area is:

• Thinner – Elastic fibers of the dermis are fewer. The skin more easily shows signs of ageing.
• Less sebaceous glands – The skin becomes more dehydrated more quickly.
• Hydrolipidic film is nearly non-existent – The skin is far more delicate.
